Industrias Unidas de Nuevo Laredo, S.A., rises as the first of a group of enterprises
mostly dedicated to the agro-industrial activity.With the growth of its activities different affiliated companies were established in all cotton production areas, totalling by 1965 thirty eight companies between cotton, edible oil, flour mills, gas and ice factories as well as banks and real estate companies merging that same year under the name of Empresas Longoria, S.A. de C.V. Generating jobs, trusting the fields and agricultural producers of Mexico overcoming production and economic crises, since then the foundation of our growth has been to foment and support the cultivation of cotton, not only in satisfying the needs of raw material, service and quality required by the national textile industry, but also competing successfully in the demanding international markets. |
